1. Never skip Suhoor:

Here is the food which you can add to your Suhoor.

Yogurt:

It is good food to include at Suhoor because it provides protein, calcium, iodine, and also contains fluid.

Fruits and Vegetables:

Fruits and vegetables contain minerals and vitamins, which help you to feel energized and hydrated. Some examples are watermelon, strawberries, peaches, oranges, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, and celery. You can make a salad to get all the healthful benefits at once.

 

Bread:

You can go for toast or chapatis as these provide more fibers. Combine bread with nut butter without salt or banana and make sure to drink plenty of water as bread is dry.

 

2. Drink as much water as possible:

To reduce the risk of dehydration, you should drink water between the iftar and Suhoor. You must drink at least eight glasses of water between iftar and Suhoor. You can also include juices, milk, and beverages, but water is the best option. You should not drink tea and coffee because it promotes fluid loss. A lack of water in the body can lead to a lack of physical energy and also leaving you with a headache. Dehydration causes many health issues, including stomach ulcers, poor blood circulations, high or low blood pressures, irregular heart rhythm, and many others. Many people open their fast with drinks and juices, which is one of the biggest mistakes because it tends to put on weight. So drinking enough water and keeping yourself hydrated is very important during the month of Ramadan.

3. Avoid Eating Salty and fried food:

It is very common to eat fried and sugary dishes at iftar. Eating these dishes after iftar makes you feel good, but it causes delayed indigestion. The salty and spicy food makes fasting the next day fasting more difficult. So you should limit the intake of salt because it increases the thirst. You can get out of this situation by avoiding these types of food. When eating during Ramadan, you should not eat deep-fried and creamy food because it may cause you to gain weight. Therefore Ramadan is the best time to improve the balance of your diet.           4. Do not overeat during iftar:
Overeating at the time of iftar can harm your body. Excessive consumption of food leads to indigestion. So you must make a conscious effort not to overeat. You must eat a well balanced and nutritious meal at iftar. Focus on keeping yourself hydrated during Ramadan.
